The quantity of Fine
particles not taken up by customers are then converted into ADONAI CHARCOAL
BRIQUETTES. These are compressed with a vegetable starch as the binder.
These are also sold as heating fuel and are popular in kettle type Bar-B-Q
apparatus. Briquettes burn for longer than Lump Charcoal and at a lower
temperature.
ADONAI CHARCOAL also
produces a product with Lump Charcoal and Briquettes in which the charcoal
is impregnated in a wax based non health hazardous
mixture. These are popular because they can be placed directly into the
heating apparatus and ignited without the user having to handle the product.
All the company's
charcoal is produced from Hardwoods. I.E. fine grained wood which possesses
grater strength than course grained wood. Adonai Charcoal sources its wood
from Namibia, Zimbabwe, Maputo and South Africa. All lump wood charcoal and
briquettes are produced and bagged in South Africa.
